15 Reasons Why The Obamacare Decision Is A Disaster For America

You can almost always count on the Supreme Court to do the wrong thing.  In fact, just about every major decision by the U.S. Supreme Court over the last 40 years has been bad for America.  Many were hoping that the Supreme Court would strike down Obamacare, but the truth is that we all should have known better than to expect them to get something right.  So now America is headed for a complete and total disaster as Obamacare is fully implemented over the next several years.  Obamacare is going to absolutely shred the infrastructure of our medical system, it is going to send health insurance premiums soaring, it is going to dramatically expand the size and the scope of government, it is going to fundamentally alter the relationships between doctors and their patients and it is one of the largest tax increases in U.S. history.  Not only that, it is also going to add about a trillion dollars to our national debt over the next decade.  So no, the Obamacare decision is not good news.  Obamacare was one of the worst pieces of legislation in American history, and now we are stuck with it.

It was a 5-4 decision to uphold Obamacare, and the swing vote was Chief Justice John Roberts who was appointed by George W. Bush.

After the vote today, it is hard to have any faith in the U.S. Supreme Court.  Many constitutional conservatives kept voting for Republicans in the hope that the direction of the Supreme Court would change, but it hasn’t.

Prior to the Obama administration, Republicans controlled the White House for 20 out of 28 years.  If Republicans were going to fundamentally change the nature of the Supreme Court, that was their opportunity.

But it didn’t happen.

Instead, what we have is a Supreme Court that is dominated by judges that have very little respect for the U.S. Constitution.  When I was in law school I got to study the Supreme Court pretty closely and I quickly realized that most of the time they simply do whatever they want to do and they make up whatever reasons they can to justify their decisions.

That sounds really bad, but that is the truth.

And thanks to the Supreme Court, we are stuck with Obamacare – at least for now.

The following are 15 reasons why the Obamacare decision is a mind blowing disaster for America….

#1 According to the U.S. Supreme Court, the federal government has the power to force you to buy private goods and services.  Now that this door has been opened, what else will we be forced to buy in the future?

#2 Obamacare is another step away from individual liberty and another step toward a “nanny state” where the government dominates our lives from the cradle to the grave.

#3 The IRS is now going to be given the task of hunting down and penalizing millions of Americans that do not have any health insurance.  In fact, the Obama administration has given the IRS 500 million extra dollars ”outside the normal appropriations process” to help them enforce the provisions of Obamacare that they are in charge of overseeing.

#4 Obamacare imposes more than 20 new taxes on the American people.  You can find a comprehensive list of Obamacare taxes right here.  If you love paying higher taxes, then you are going to absolutely love Obamacare once it is fully implemented.

#5 In an attempt to “control costs” and “promote efficiency”, Obamacare limits the treatment options that doctors and patients can consider.  This is likely to result in a decrease in life expectancy in the United States.

#6 Obamacare is going to impose nightmarish paperwork burdens on doctors, hospitals and the rest of the healthcare system.  This is going to significantly increase our healthcare costs as a nation.

#7 Obamacare is going to send health insurance premiums soaring.  This is especially true for younger Americans.

#8 Many small businesses are going to be absolutely crushed by the provisions in Obamacare that require them to provide expensive health insurance coverage for their employees.  This is going to make them even less competitive with companies in other countries where businesses are not required to provide healthcare for their workers.  This is also going to make it even less attractive for businesses to hire new employees.

#9 Obamacare is going to make the emerging doctor shortage in America a lot worse.  Surveys have found that we could potentially see hundreds of thousands of doctors leave the medical profession because of Obamacare.

#10 Obamacare has already forced the cancellation of dozens of doctor-owned hospitals.

#11 Obamacare is going to result in a much bigger federal government.  In order to fully implement all of the provisions of Obamacare, hordes of new government bureaucrats will be required.

#12 Thanks to Obamacare, you are going to have to wait much longer to see a doctor.  Just look at what happened once Romneycare was implemented in Massachusetts….

In fact, we have already seen the start of this process in Massachusetts, where Mitt Romney’s health care reforms were nearly identical to President Obama’s. Romney’s reforms increased the demand for health care but did nothing to expand the supply of physicians. In fact, by cracking down on insurance premiums, Massachusetts pushed insurers to reduce their payments to providers, making it less worthwhile for doctors to expand their practices. As a result, the average wait to get an appointment with a doctor grew from 33 days to over 55 days.

#13 Obamacare contains all kinds of insidious little provisions that most people don’t even know about.  The following is one example from the Alliance Defense Fund….

“Did you know that with ObamaCare you will have to pay for life-saving drugs, but life-ending drugs are free. One hundred percent free. If this plan were really about health care wouldn’t it be the other way around?”

#14 As if the U.S. government was not facing enough of a crisis with entitlement spending, it is being projected that Obamacare will add 16 million more Americans to the Medicaid rolls.  You and I will be paying for all of this.

#15 The Congressional Budget Office estimates that Obamacare will add more than a trillion dollars to government spending over the next decade.  Considering the fact that the U.S. government is already drowning in debt, how in the world can we afford this?

So what do you think about the Obamacare decision?

  • Absolutely ridiculous. How can the Supreme Court be charged with upholding the constitution and make this decision. Will O'Bama have the same health care provided to him as he has just forced on to the American People?

  • It seems e shall have to spend less on wars, drat

    • utpoia police

Maybe even cut defense to where we can't keep another countries military from killing you and yours…. Or maybe bring jihad to the US instead of keeping it over in the Middle East. Oh wait! That's the same thing; them killing you here instead of killing tons of innocent fellow Afghanistans there. Good logic!

  • Thomas Jones

It's a shame how these articles (financed by the insurance & Pharma co.'s) use just 1% of the truth & 99% lies to try to manipulate Americans minds into thinking that universal health care is bad," IF" it's supposed to be then why isn't the UK or Canada in such dire straights since they have had it for years???

    • If you have been to Canada or the UK you would know that our healthcare is actually better than theirs. In Canada they also pay around 40 percent taxes and have to wait for even 5 years to be treated depending on the surgery. We are in dire straights because we already are in terrible debt. You should visit one of those countries you refer to before you open your mouth sir.

    • SayNOtoObamacare

Seriously??? Why do so many Canadians cross the border to get US medical care?????

    • Canada is looking at ways to privatize parts of it's healthcare. In England, premature babies and seniors are denied healthcare because it is not cost effective. The wait for a hip replacement is 12 to 18 months.

    • Utopia Police

Amazing how 99% lies are cooked up from an unread law. You did read it, right?

  • It's funny how you people, for the sake of making money, play on the fears of others, spread false rumors, innuendos and fact-less propaganda. As an attorney, I am appalled and ashamed at everything you've written here. There's not one shred of truth in it. You twisted facts to suit your own purpose. It is very perplexing to see people who supposed to protect justice been the ones destroying them. There's no tax burden on millions of Americans as you put it, only on those that won't buy insurance and what is the purpose of that? it is to protect working class people from paying for those who use medical services for free thereby causing the rest of us that pay taxes to pick up their tabs. Yes, I favor this because I am darn tired of working hard and paying for people who think they can just go to the emergency room and get free medical services causing the rest of us, including you, unnecessary tax burden. The tax you mentioned will only be on 1 or 2 percent of the population. This system of health care is been used in Canada and most European and Asian nations and it's working fantastically. What makes you think it can't work here in the U.S. Tell the insurance companies to stop taking people's premium that they use to buy all the real estate all over the place and apply it towards paying benefits for the customers' illnesses, not denying them in order to acquire more assets. This is all financial game to the people in the know. Others are just following blindly. If the Republicans had been in control of the congress 24 out of the last 28 years and they have not succeeded, don't you think something is wrong with that picture? Obviously, they must been doing something wrong for that failure. It is time we as republicans stop pandering to some silly-a** money hungry people at the top and do what is good for the nation. I can go on and on destroying every one of the point you have outlined, but it's not worth my time. Please stop spreading fear. Your profession deserves more respect than that. Have a wonderful day.

  • Vote Conservative, whether Republican or Democrat, and "put your money where your mouth is" and support the conservative candidate. Campaign tirelessly to elect those candidates and don't be afraid to express your views.

  • Completely disgusting. But as long as all the bums get welfare and Medicaid paid for by the tax payers they'll all continue mooching off the system and not do anything with their lives. End of America here we come its sad.

  • concerned citizen

Full of negative assumptions and many unexplained slippery slope fallacies of argumentation!
Who wrote the article and why is the name of the author (who quotes from when s/he was in law school) not shown? Good journalism is claimed by the author.

  • howard robinson

I remember the company I worked for prior to retirement would decrease health benefits each year while increasing costs to beneficiaries. The insurance companies were able to exclude people for what were called pre -existing conditions, sometimes with tenuous and uncoscienable arguments, but they still excluded them. The insurance companies still took payments.and still increased them at ever increasing rates. Examples of wasteful medical practices abounded.
This affordable health care decision has provisions to amend these situations along with many other prior shortcomings. I did not hear any comments about these aspects in this article. It may not be perfect, but it has some moves to improve, where previously we were heading downhill with increasing speed.

Public health is one significant area where the government should be able to at least close the wide gap between the rich and poor. Not everyone could afford the high cost of privately provided health insurance. I think it is the wealthy sector that is really worried about the declining economy and not the poor or the average people. You know what I mean! At least and at last a truly brave and caring leader in Obama has meaningfully responded to Abraham Lincoln's "government of the people, by the people, and for the people".

  • Public health is one area where the government should be able to close the wide gap between the rich and poor. Obamacare responded to it!

  • Wait a minute….. is this a tea party rant?? How did I get here?

  • Victor Lombardi

I have a question to your viewers :

Since when did committing a fraud against the American Tax Payers, Congress and the Senate become legal and institutionalized in the USA?

Clearly, both the Congress and Senate were defrauded in how the entire Health Care plan was presented, President Obama himself on hundreds of occasions said that this was not a tax and that not a penny of new tax's were needed to fund this – yet the very same administration later argued in front of the Supreme Court in a fall back position that indeed , it was a tax.

So maybe someone smarter than I can explain how an Administration or Government Agency can openly commit a clearly and knowingly covert fraud and it be legally binding .

If any one of us in filing our taxes or filing documentation to the Federal Government committed such a fraud in our paper work we would be immediately arrested, charged, prosecuted and incarcerated for a significant period of time.

To me – that is the beginning point of this.

We all know what to do in November !

  • I disagree with the author that the Supreme Court has made a mistake. If one wants to identify the problem, then simply look in the mirror. There is very little chance that once you give an ignorant person something for free that you can ever begin to charge for it in the future or that they will ever appreciate what they have. Extreme entitlement is rampant in our country and has grown due to “I’m accustomed to…” and “my right…” belief!

You elected these Democrats who pushed this legislation on your behalf. You should be happy that we’re finally a socialist country with no rights, no freedoms, and a King who can put you in prison (without due process) if he suspects you as a terrorist. Please come join me in flag burning day this July 4th. Remember, folks, it is illegal to show your patriotism by shooting off fireworks in Contra Costa County in California, but perfectly legal to burn the American flag. I will be celebrating my patriotism this year after several decades of military service by burning the flag to celebrate the end of America. Thank you for belittling the lives of the American people who sacrificed for this country. You win! God bless communism…

Why a judge appointed by a party should not be free to interpret the constitutionality of a law according to his own belief ? A judge appointed by a republican government should not be tied to decide in accordance with
the opinion of the leaders of this party.
In my country, I do not always agree with the interpretation of our Supreme Court in constitutional matters, but I think they must be free to give an interpretation in conformity with their opinion and not with the opinion of a government or political party.
I admit that I cannot evaluate the jugments of your Supreme Court. but I try to presume these judges are honest.

  • Why is no one including to the list the fact that Congress and the Senate are exempt from this "law"? Why, if this is such a good thing for U.S. citizens, is it not good for the lawmakers who created it?

  • Where did you take that this country is just there for litterally detaxing the really rich, and have decent services to its citizens. I understand the 1% hates everything that does not serve them, but this is not a reason to govern this country according to their wishes only. Greed, greed, greed for the 1% and to hell with the rest. This country has adopted that way of thinking with Reagan and continued ever since with every republican(Bush Father was not as bad) and made surpluses with Clinton. One cannot siphon the country indefinitely, somebody has to pay income tax and taxes, this is how a country works. In fact, the healthcare system should provide a psychiatric aid to all the financially insecures that already have millions and billions and want more. That would be a good use of the Healthcare system,

    • RIGHT ON!

      GOD BLESS THE 99% !

    • Utopia Police

I'm not by the farthest reaches of the imagination part of the 1% (read 5 figure income). Since you DID read the bill, you know the taxes levied will impact the 99%, right? (You DID read the entire bill, right?).

  • Donald H. Ort

Now that it is clear that the us government (deliberate lower case) can tax us on ANYTHING, I predict that within 10 years, we will be taxed for the amount of air that we breath. The pretence will be to support "clean air"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Dustydon

  • In 2010, our out-of-pocket medical costs totaled 28% of our total income! 2011 wasn't as bad, but with Obamacare, I can only see it getting worse. Already our health insurer raised our co-payments and premiums this year, perhaps in expectation of Obamacare being passed.

I doubt we will ever qualify for Medicaid because our meager pension checks combined will exceed income limits, thus we will be the "medically poor", sort of like the "underemployed."

  • Simple. Just buy gold as the government prints more money!!!

  • Amerika is a nazi police state. If you fail to buy mandated insurance armed government gestapo goons will come after you. Bullets, tanks, burning down buildings with children and women inside, tear gas, and helocopters firing missiles are just some of the means to enforce another nazi socialist scheme on the masses that fail to abide. You SHALL comply comrade….
    welcome to the NEW AMERIKA!

  • I LOVE OBAMACARE!

    • ME ALSO!

      GOD BLESS AMERICA and OBAMA!

    • Utopia Police

Me too! Of course, you then are offiering to pay my increased taxes and medical expenses, right? We'll need you to open a post office box and publish it so we can send all of our larger medical bills directly to you. I feel the ObamaCare love already! (You DID read the entire legislative bill, RIGHT?)

  • This used to be the land of the free. When is the new order government going to take the white and blue out of the national flag? The great American dream has fast become the sorry American nightmare.

  • Now it is clear why Obama told the Reverend Wright he had a "real problem!" "What's that," the Reverend asked? "YOU CAN'T LIE"…!!!! Right up to the vote, this president was lying through his teeth. Said he: "NO
WAY IS THIS A TAX!" And, as usual, a large ship of fools….cheered this Narcissist on…

  • Pure speculation on the part of the author—whoever the American Dream is.
Nice name but with a pretty blatant political agenda spouting the usual right leaning rhetoric.

    What if it actually works?
What if the bucket loads of new money coming into the system actually drives down the cost of health care?
What if people actually getting a fair shake at the wealth of this country actually begins to create a stronger, more united country?
What if insurance companies required to spend 80% of premium revenue on health care actually makes them more responsible to the people they serve and not only the boardroom execs?

Big ifs. But how about we give something new a chance rather than trashing every new possibility. I'm in the crowd that is just plain sick and tired of the American Dream as this author lives it!

  • mary hedrick

In addition, the IRS will have a direct link to everyone's BANK ACCOUNT and the national registry is MICROCHIP in the hand!

  • Judas got 30 pieces of silver for turning against Jesus Christ, how much did John Roberts get for turning against the American people?. Either way it is a complete lack of moral character and a breach of contract with the Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

  • Seems to me that the people who don't have health insurance, generally speaking, are those that cannot afford the ever increasing premiums copays deductibles etc. So the Supreme court thinks that assessing a penalty or a fee or a tax on the poorest of the poor and the weakest of the weak is going to "raise revenue"? How is that supposed to work? Have they heard of the term "Ability to pay" or "You can't get blood from a stone"?

    • It is also true that the new provisions include a stipulation that the IRS isn't going to force anyone to pay anything relating to this "fine" for not being insured.

  • Why is it that we are the only country in the developed world that can't afford medical coverage for its citizens? As soon as the subject comes up all the right wing extremists go nuts.Ask any senior citizen his opinion about Medicare, a government run medical plan, and see if they are willing to give it up. In my opinion Obama Care dosen't go far enough. This is from a life long registered Republican.

  • And all of the illegal aliens will also be insured? With millions more crossing the border every year? Is the Mexican gov't going to help pay for its citizens it does not want?

    • Where exactly is it written that illegal immigrants will be insured? They cannot be turned away from public hospitals in cases of emergencies, but other than that, I am not aware of any law that requires free medical care be provided to non citizens.

  • I'll be posting here after someone from the Gov. calls me back to respond to my questions about this garbage. Unfortunately Romney has similar ideas about healthcare. Once again it's a vote of the lesser of two EVILS!

  • all bull s?;t. Won't our market system adjust. more doctors, import from overseas China, Cuba etc. Your predictions are for those entitled to have to change. Death Drug at no cost so be it.

  • If Obama gets reelected, America is destined to become a nanny state; ultimately, an UNCapitalist nation. He wanted to dumb us down to the rest of the international community, and, well, at this pivotal time in history, we may become the next 'has been'; Well, I am speaking through the eyes and ears of a fairly basic, constitutional conservatism.

  • Great article, people need to wake up and vote politicians who pander to the poor or anyone else out of office. The Government isn't our daddy, it was created by the people to work for the people. What we have now in the U.S. is a dog and pony show between the Democrats and Republicans. Both parties are more interested in power, control and their careers than the welfare of the country. Our elected officials are no different than you and me. The behavior of the so called leaders of our Republic should be causing the people to have contempt for our Government. The people are acting like little kids and the Government is treating us like little kids. We don't have to accept everything the Government does. Our Founding Fathers were very aware that positions of power attract corrupt people. The population today seems to have forgotten that.

  • It is becoming extremely dangerous to post any comment in this country concerning the government and particularly the current leftist fascist government and its leader that it won't come back to haunt us later. The real question should be with the convoluted logic of Roberts in his decision, who among the big health insurance companies bought him off? They just had to peel off one "conservative" judge.

  • Some of the information in this article is accurate, but it also contains many inaccuracies and speculations — which, if I were to comment in the same spirit and tone as the article I would have to call lies.

  • This is avery biased report

  • maggie cheung

obama care is going to ruine US, eventually become Europe, add more debt deficit to U,S. dame stupid

  • What good is my comment, less than nothing, but here it is. SCOTUS is adrift and has been since the FDR Administration. Its job under the Constitution is to require Congress and the Executive to conform their acts and legislation to the Consitution, whereas, SCOTUS has turned that on its head and conforms the Constitution to the acts of the Executive and the legislation passed by Congress and signed by the President.

Riddle. When is a penalty not a penalty? When it's a tax . . . so says SCOTUS

  • Obamacare forces the American people more into debt than saving lives!….We need unecissary cuts that strangles the economy, and the deficit in which someday may explode to a NATIONAL recession!

  • elizabeth klages

This President has done nothing to better the lives of the American people, in fact, he is making life much worse. Obamacare does not surprise me, this man wants a socialist society, this is just the beginning, hard working people that pay their taxes and are not a drain on society, will be taking care of Obama's people that want the government to run their lives and take care of them, at our expense. I can only hope that this person is not re-elected, however, I truly fear he will be becauase of those who are getting a free ride will vote for him. As far as Romney, I guess he may be the lesser of 2 evils. God help us all.

  • You, my friend, are simply clueless. The ACA, not Obama care, is not perfect, but it is a start. And why, because it starts to erode the clutches of the insurance conglomerate on the sick care system we now have in place. What would you do? Give power back to the insurance companies??? They already overwhelm doctors with increased paperwork, and infringe on our decision making authority, plus, let me say again, plus, keep on reducing our reimbursements. We really need a single payor system, but as long as bozo's such as you keep promoting the insurance company as an option, then the insurance companies win, and patients, doctors, and the proper care patients really need, lose.

  • nothingbutruth

One has to wonder how much money the American Dream Writers received from the Dark Money Cartels aka SuperPacs, to run this piece.

Most is simply not true. The article does reveal, however some of the Selfish Values that these, "Sick Puppies," are attempting to promote in the Mainstream

Here are just a few of the FACTS – - NO OPINIONS, HERE!

    1. First and foremost, we should have had a Single-Payer, National Health Care Plan. The Infrastructure is already in place, and the Seniors Love it! PUT EVERYONE THAT WANTS THE COVERAGE UNDER MEDICARE. IT WILL SAVE THE GOVERNMENT $400 BILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR. We don't have a National Health Care Plan, because the Neo-Conservatives and the Super Rich, just cannot bring themselves to take excessive profits away from the Large Health Insurance Companies. Those Profits approximate 30-35%, per year. A $400 BILLION DOLLAR SAVINGS WOULD BUY A LOT OF HEATH INSURANCE FOR THOSE THAT DO NOT HAVE IT.

    2. At least 30,000,000 Poor Ameicans will now have access to decent health care.

    3. Insurance Companies will no longer be able to prevent American Citizens from acquiring Health Insurance, due to a Pre-Existing Condition.

    4. For the Government's portion of the Health Care Subsidy,( AND THIS IS A SHOCKER!), it will amount to only ONE-THIRD OF THE COST OF THE HUGE TAX CUT BUSH GAVE TO THE RICH, OVER A TEN YEAR PERIOD. THAT FACT IS SIMPLY AMAZING! THE TAX CUT WAS THE LARGEST TRANSFER OF WEALTH TO THE RICH, IN THE HISTORY OF THE COUNTRY. IN FAIRNESS TO BUSH, THERE ARE THOSE WHO SAY THAT HE WAS DUBBED, ON THIS ONE. HE WAS LEAD TO BELIEVE THAT THE RICH WOULD CREATE BOTH JOBS AND INVESTMENTS. IT NEVER HAPPENED!

4, A COERCED TAX ON THOSE WHO REFUSE TO JOIN? I THINK NOT! AS A CATHOLIC, I MUST PAY FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS, EVEN THOUGH I DO NOT WANT EITHER THE SERVICE, OR THE TAX. WHAT HAPPENS IF I FAIL TO PAY MY TAXES? SAME THING IS TRUE ABOUT SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE, I CAN;T OPT OUT, JUST BECAUSE I AM ABLE TO PROVIDE FOR MY OWN RETIREMENT. THE HEALTH CARE TAX ARGUMENT IS A RUSE! WHETHER RICH BASTARDS WANT TO ACCEPT IT OR NOT; THEY TOO, HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO MAINTAIN AND SUPPORT THE COMMON GOOD. ORDINARY AMERICANS JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND THEIR SELFISHNESS.

YOU FOLKS WHO DEMONIZE JUDGE ROBERT'S JUST BECAUSE THIS LANDMARK DECISION DIDN'T GO YOUR WAY, IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! WE STILL HAVE THE RULE OF LAW IN THIS COUNTRY.

ONE HAS TO WONDER IF THIS ISN'T JUST ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE PROPAGANDA SITES THAT HAS BEEN BOUGHT, AND PAID FOR, BY THE DARK MONEY CARTELS; THAT, ARE MAKING SUCH A MOCKERY OUT OF FREE ELECTIONS IN THIS COUNTRY. ONE MAN – - ONE VOTE TODAY? DOUBTFUL – - AT BEST. THE REALITY TODAY SEEMS TO BE, ONE DOLLAR – - ONE VOTE. (LOL! WITH THAT ASSUMPTION; IF ONLY IT WAS, BUT A SINGLE DOLLAR!)

    don (subscriber)

    • And here I thought you were going to use facts. Sigh. You might also want to learn how to type without the caps lock on.

    • I am far from rich , but I fail to understand why a tax cut is a transfer of wealth. I would love to keep more of my money, not because I am selfish but simply because I've been working since I was 8 years old . Yes working on a farm, I made 1 dollar an hour and at 50 hours a week I was paying 2.50 in social security. I am now 54 and might not be able to collect S.S. simply because it has been used to pay into all these other spending programs that I also have never benefited from. I hate it because at one time my dad couldn't work and my mom applied for government assistance and she was denied because as she was told she had sons that could contribute, and yet we have these leeches that get benefits simply by sticking their hand out. Fair? Yeah right!!!!!!

  • nothingbutruth

Not surprised you didn't post my comments. Every single bullet point was the Truth – - but, I suspect that you know that.

I was a Republican for 35 years – - like so many today – - I didn't know .. . . that I, didn't know . . . what was really happening in this Country; until the Crash of 08, because, like so many Fools, i wanted to trust and believe in the Government.

As a Retired, Social, Economic, and Political Analyst, of sorts ( Ph.D), after four years of intensive research, I could write the BOOK, on what has taken place during the past 35 years; and likely will, soon.. However, my current book is to examine the degree to which Dark Money is attempting to control all social, economic, and political institutions in the U.S,; including many of the Media Outlets and Phony Websites, that have specifically been established to dispense propaganda; and, out-and-out, Lies! Usually doesn't take much to flush the Pretenders out.

Yours will make a welcome addition; and I will see that you get a copy when it is completed.

  • Old Alaskan

I wonder if Justice Raberts did this intentionally to rally the right to unite against a common evil, "obamacare"? Wasn't it the opposition to obamacare that spawned the TEA Party? This is a chance, no a rally cry for the right to unite again and have a repeat of the 2010 election. If that was his thinking then I applaud the move, if it was not then I say let's use our dissapointment to unite the right.

  • Maybe you didn't notice, but health care premiums were already increasing dramatically each year during the Bush Administration and there was no end in sight. There seemed not one whit of interest in doing anything about it. Well, now something has been done about it. I'm no expert regarding how it will ultimately play out and it appears that no one else is either, but I'm willing to wait and see.

  • A "Big Brother" union is in store if this bill is allowed to remain in force!

  • Want to know what obamacare will be like? Search for comments on Natonal health care / either Canada or England. (Where they euthanized 180,000 elderly last year, due to them 'not being worth the expense') Or. talk to a Veteran about V.A care, or anyone on a reservation about how good Govt. health care isn't. If this stands, we'll have third world care replete with first world costs.

    • This post is filled with bunkum about Canada's health care system. You want some facts ? Go to the AARP page (google it for God's sake) and it will debunk the five major objections people like this guest maintain are true.

  • Mr. Obama is a liar. A big one. He stated he would not raise taxes on anyone making less than $200,000 a year. He stated this "penalty" was not a tax. Yet his administration's attorney argued before SCOTUS that it was exactly that, a tax. The Supreme Court ruled it a tax. Otherwise they would have found against it. Now, Mr. Obama still tries to insist it is not a tax. You can't have it both ways, Mr. Obama. This TAX is being collected and enforced by the IRS. Why are they involved if it is not a tax? It seems that Mr. Obama Can have it both ways, although I don't know of anyone else who can. This man is absolutely killing this once wonderful country. He is Extremely Dangerous! America's only hope is that he gets voted out of office in November. Where is the most transparent administration in history that he promised us in his run for the White House? Somewhere hidden in those documents from "Fast and Furious" will likely be the answer. Wake up American people, before it's too late.

  • Sylvia Smith

Rick people don't care about this OBAMACARE, they're already rich, they have money to spend for any type of ittnesses they'll get and hire doctor's from around the world to treat them or they could fly anywhere for treatment. IT'S THE MIDDLE CLASS THAT WILL BE SEVERELY IMPACTED because they will pay higher taxes to cover those uninsured people. The people who got the wrong idea about the OBAMACARE think it will benefit them in the long run including the poor; it's the poor who will be lucky because they will be covered w/o any Problem.
